Join The Carolina Christmas Train on a magical journey of twinkling lights, festive music, and the warm glow of holiday cheer! ✨
Their historic passenger cars offer cozy, nostalgic seating as guests wind their way through the heart of North Carolina. On this ride, families will get to sit back, relax, and sing along to Christmas carols as Santa makes his way through the cars to visit each family!
Bookings are available at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM on select dates from December 3–20. Tickets sell out quickly each year — be sure to book early to secure your spot!

What to Expect Onboard
🎟️ Kids can hand their ticket to the engineer
✨ Find your seats and settle in for a 50-minute ride through twinkling lights
🖍️ Enjoy coloring, hot chocolate in a souvenir cup, and a giant cookie
🎅🏽 As the train turns around, Santa arrives! Take photos, chat, and wave as he continues through the train
🎶 Enjoy the return trip with more carols and cheer

You’ll find tables and cozy seating for 2–4 in the Family Class Double Diners, while the Summit View Dome Car offers panoramic views from above.

Summit View Cars with Full-Length Dome
Enjoy panoramic views of the twinkling lights from both the sides and above! ✨ This railcar features seating for 20 on the lower level with a full kitchen, and 66 seats upstairs in the dome — offering a 360° view for every passenger.
