Before You Scroll… A Little Reminder!
You never need a membership to join our events. Every playdate, storytime, and meetup is open to ALL local moms and families. If it’s on the calendar, you’re invited — no strings attached!!
Scroll below to see some of our upcoming events (and a few of our friends’!), plus quick links to our favorite local spots for holiday shopping. 🎄🛍️
Weymouth Wonderland: Wonderfest & Market
A quick correction for anyone who saw our weekend newsletter — we mistakenly listed this event as happening on Saturday AND Sunday. It is only on Saturday, December 6th this year.
And trust us… you’ll want to be there! The Boyd House will be beautifully decorated for the holidays, with vintage décor for sale in the Holiday Shoppe, a cozy Bake Shoppe with treats + warm drinks, photos with Santa (from 10-3!), local vendors and artisans, favorite food trucks, and live performances from local dancers and musicians. This event is free. Donations are accepted at entry and directly support Weymouth’s programs.
MoCo Mom Afternoon Playdate @ VirtoKids
Since day one, you’ve asked for an indoor play space in MoCo… and now we have a tiny taste of one of the best! Join us on Monday, December 15th from 3–4:30 PM at VirtoKids, who are shifting to a donation-based open play model — and they’ve saved a special slot just for MoCo Mom families! It’s the perfect post-nap outing: a cozy indoor space where toddlers can mingle, tinies can explore, and everyone can burn that mid-afternoon energy before dinner.

One of our all-time favorite holiday books is coming to life… and we can’t wait!
Join MoCoMom and Friends of the Aberdeen Library for a reading of The Jolly Christmas Postman at the historic Aberdeen Postmaster’s House — the oldest residence in Aberdeen, beautifully restored and the most perfect setting for this book.
We’ll have free cookies + cocoa generously provided by Bravory Bakehouse, a cozy storytime and a sweet holiday craft. This event is free and open to the community, with a donation box on-site — all contributions go directly to supporting the Friends of the Aberdeen Library as they prepare for their soon-to-open doors. 🤍
Two sessions are available on Saturday, December 20th — 10 AM & 11 AM. Bring the whole family, but please include everyone in your RSVP count! Afterwards, stroll through Downtown Aberdeen for brunch or a treat to keep the morning going.
And check out a few more ongoings in the neighborhood!!
And head to our Instagram to see some of our favorite places to shop local this season — for the kids AND for mom!!
Wishing you the very best this Holiday Season,
❤️🎄 The MoCo Mom Team
