It's Your Kid-Centric Event Guide to Ongoings in Moore County

First, happy snow day! Second, we’ve had a lot of new subscribers join us this week—welcome! Let’s take a look at what’s happening around Moore County.

Some awesome options for moms this week:

• Registration for Mom Camp: Golf Edition opened to Members Thursday evening, and a few spots are still available for February 21st! Our March session has sold out, but you can join the Waitlist here.

• This week you can enjoy a FREE full week of SLAM, February 2–6.

• And Drop-Off Open Play at VirtoKids will be available Tuesday and Thursday.

Registration season is officially here, and there’s a lot happening for our families!

• Mixed Age PE with PE in the Pines is now open for its 6-week spring session beginning March 8, with classes held Wednesdays at 10 AM in Pinehurst.

• Fall Mini Sticks (lacrosse!) with Shine On Sports is also open for kids ages 3–8, with the fall session starting August 31 at Rassie Wicker.

• Plus, Aberdeen Parks & Rec Youth Kickball registration is open for ages 4–15, with a signup deadline of Friday, February 27.

• Registration for Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Summer Camps opens for residents on Tuesday. You can also view our growing list of camps here.

We’re also rolling into the season with two family-favorite train experiences.

• Stacks & Tracks pulls out of Downtown Aberdeen on Saturday, February 21, serving pancakes and bacon during a 45-minute ride.

• Looking ahead to spring, Bunny Tales & Rails takes place Easter weekend on Saturday, April 4 at the West End Fire Department, featuring an Easter train ride and festive activities (including an egg hunt!) great for the entire family.

• Time slots run from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM.
